Looking for an "Octoberrfest" Party?? Look at Rockhouse!

Rockhouse Rocks “Octoberrfest” Grab “Das Boot” and Celebrate the Month of Beer at Rockhouse

Nothing says fall like a boot full of beer and nothing says beer like Rockhouse Bar & Nightclub. As the weather starts to cool down, it’s time to dust off the lederhosen (but leave them at home) and raise that giant mug of beer, because starting Friday, October 1, the Strip’s only ultra-dive bar will celebrate “Octobeerfest.”

For the month of October, partygoers can get their hands on “das boot,” a 48-ounce souvenir boot-shaped mug – or is it a mug-shaped boot – filled with their choice of beer for just $27. Whether they choose to guzzle, share, or engage in a round of free beer pong, the souvenir cup is theirs to keep and refills are just $16 each. For the avid beer connoisseur, Rockhouse’s 64-ounce “super beer” also comes chock-full of delicious lager for $27 with refills available for $20. Rockhouse’s gorgeous roster of bartenders will pour “Octobeerfesters” with their choice of Budweiser, Bud Light, Bud Light Golden Wheat, or for those trying to fit into those lederhosen later, Michelob Ultra.

Day or night, it’s always the right time to party at Rockhouse. Whether people watching on the rowdy Strip-side patio by day, or dancing on the bar with an 80-ounce guitar by night, the ultra-dive bar is one of Vegas’ best-kept secrets. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 a.m., Rockhouse will give partygoers the ultimate nightlife experience – minus the “VIP” attitude. With a knockout lineup of gorgeous bartenders, bottle service that won’t break the bank, a walk-away daiquiri bar and casual dress code, Rockhouse is a definite must-visit hotspot for locals and tourists alike.

Blending a local dive bar with the glamour of Sin City’s party scene at a convenient center Strip location, Rockhouse is the top party destination on the Strip. Las Vegas’ only ultra dive bar features top-notch lighting and sound with the best DJs in Las Vegas blending upbeat rock, hip-hop and dance. With beautiful bartenders pouring drinks from the bar tops, playing in the giant bird cage and dangling from tire swings suspended from the ceiling, Rockhouse is the spot where the party never stops. Rockhouse is located on Las Vegas Blvd. in front of Imperial Palace, directly across from Caesars Palace in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip. The daiquiri and main bar open daily at 10 a.m. and the adjacent nightclub is open from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly. Guests check in?? Do they check out?? New 13th floor haunting!! Circus Circus!

.Guests check in, but not out at the new 13th Floor “Haunting Tour at Circus Circus”
13th Floor “Haunting Tour at Circus Circus”

This Halloween season Jason Egan transforms the 13th floor at Circus Circus to create a tour that is the first of its kind in Las Vegas. Guests will board a haunted elevator that immediately transports them to the 13th floor which has been transformed with creepy hotel furniture that comes to life, a séance to contact former guests and much more. Few buildings, especially hotels, are built with a 13th floor primarily because of the strange occurrences known to happen on this grim floor. This haunted tour will give guests a first-hand look at some of these eerie events.

Egan’s ghostly team will take guests on a 13-minute tour through 13 unique rooms on the floor. Hotel “staff” including housekeepers, bellman, concierge and catering employees will roam the hallways with grisly motives in mind. The interactive experience will allow guests to become the wedding party for a corpse wedding; tour the bellman’s closet for remnants of guests who have checked in, but not out; and narrowly escape becoming the dinner that catering staff are preparing for the haunted inhabitants.

Matsuri! Spirit - Strength and Style!! Japan's #1 Show at Imperial Palace!

Matsuri - A Festival of Spirit, Strength & Style! Catapults Into A Second Year at Imperial Palace

Japan’s most acclaimed musical production Matsuri celebrates its one year anniversary and has signed an additional one-year contract to entertain audiences six days a week in the Human Nature Showroom at Imperial Palace. The reviews continue to praise this engaging and extremely entertaining production show.

“Enough energy in this show to light up the Strip.” – Las Vegas Sun

“This is great, and it is amazing. I love this show.” – IGoShows.com

Represented by EBI Enterprises, Matsuri (Japanese for ‘Festival’) is an action-packed, non-verbal production that showcases extreme athleticism through a series of unique variety acts. The 70-minute high-energy show features a cast of 18 Japanese athletes and entertainers, performing stunts ranging from the “Human Jump Rope” and “Judo Tango” to the “Lion Dance” and “Foot Drums.” Under the direction of Executive Producer and Director Ushio Higuchi, each act incorporates music, strength, acrobatics, beauty and Japanese culture. Higuchi comes from a television background having created the hit Japanese television program, “Kinniku-banzuke” and “SUSUKE” (known in the states as “Ninja Warrior”). Higuchi was inspired by the athletic talent and enthusiasm on that show and went on to develop the musical stage production that now performs 142 sold-out performances in Japan every year.

“Audiences leave the theater shaking their heads in disbelief at the amazing skills and stamina of these performers, or grinning from ear-to-ear because of their contagious energy,” said Megan Belk, President of EBI Enterprises.

“We are hoping to really make a name for ourselves not only in Japan and Las Vegas, but worldwide,” said Higuchi. “We feel this is a perfect platform to introduce our show to a global audience and we’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Imperial Palace.”

Matsuri, The Strip’s Biggest Afternoon Show, performs at 8 p.m. on Fridays and 4 p.m. Saturdays through Thursday. The show is dark on Tuesdays. Tickets for Matsuri are $49.99 (plus tax and fees) and $59.99 (plus tax and fees) for VIP tickets that include prime seating. Matsuri is currently offering a fantastic locals special at $20.00 (plus tax and fees) to those with Nevada ID. Tickets are available at Imperial Palace box office, Vegas.com or by calling (888) 777-7664.

Snitch Wednesday!! Official Vampire Week-End After Party!

NHRA Las Vegas Nationals at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway!! Halloween Fun also!

Halloween Weekend in Las Vegas is crucial to Full Throttle championship chasers

Halloween is celebrated each year on Oct. 31. This year, Oct. 31 also marks the day of final eliminations for the NHRA Las Vegas Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The Oct. 28-31 NHRA Las Vegas Nationals is the next-to-last event on the 2010 Full Throttle Drag Racing Series schedule and the meet is a must-win for any driver or rider who aspires to claim the championship crown.

Children dress up in colorful costumes and go door to door, ringing doorbells and hollering “Trick or treat.” For them, a treat might be a handful of their favorite candy.

For drag racers, the proverbial doorbell is the Christmas tree. They pull up to the starting line and wait for the green light to discover whether they’ll receive a trick (losing traction and going up in smoke on the starting line) or a treat (lighting the win indicator on their side of the track as they cross the finish line.

For kids, Halloween is fun. For drag racers, there is no time for ghosts, goblins or pumpkins. Every waking moment at the track is focused on qualifying, razor-sharp reaction times and winning rounds. For them, the ultimate treat is to win the NHRA Las Vegas Nationals and leave town with the points lead en route to the season finale in Pomona, Calif.

All drivers and riders competed from opening day in the Countdown to 10. At the close of the 17th race on the 23-event schedule, the top 10 competitors in Top Fuel Dragster, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle were placed in a six-race shootout for the championship.

In the Top Fuel Dragster ranks, former champions and perennial favorites Larry Dixon (consecutive crowns in 2002 and 2003) and Tony Schumacher (seven titles) are battling Cory McClenathan, Shawn Langdon, Brandon Bernstein, Doug Kalitta, Antron Brown, Morgan Lucas, Steve Torrence and Australia’s David Grubnic for the pot of gold at the end of the 1,000-foot rainbow.
