The Ambhar Goddess Model Search Latina Finals took place at Mizuya Lounge at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino on Saturday night. The event was held to celebrate Mexican Independence Day and the bicentennial independence anniversary from Spain. 13 Latina contestants, representing countries from Central and South America including Peru, Argentina and Venezuela as well as Puerto Rico, Mexico and the United States, competed for the coveted Ambhar Goddess Latina crown in three categories: cocktail dress, Ambhar swimsuit and personal swimsuit. During the contest, the models shared the stage with Las Vegas’ ultimate classic rock band, Phoenix. Nicole Herrera took home the Ambhar Goddess Latina Crown; Nicole lives in Orlando, FL after her family emigrated from Cuba. Michelle Game Cruz and Ana Natalie Delgado were the first and second runners up. Footage from the event will be broadcast to millions of people across the country on NBC’s Telemundo and Fashion TV. All three winners will advance to the Ambhar Goddess Model Search World Finals in Las Vegas during Cinco de Mayo next year.
To celebrate Saturday night’s successful pageant, the models relaxed poolside at Tropicana on Sunday afternoon. Telemundo and Fashion TV were on hand to capture the models interaction with guests and an interview with Tropicana owner Alex Yemenidijian. The models also participated in a photo shoot for an upcoming 2011 Ambhar Goddess calendar.
Ambhar Tequila’s outstanding reputation will continue to rise with the newly unveiled Ambhar Goddess Model Search. Ladies from across the country will compete throughout the year in contests throughout Las Vegas and nationwide for a chance to win the coveted Ambhar Goddess title. Winners from contests this year will be offered a cash prize for beating out the stiff competition as they flaunt their beauty and win a chance to take home the 2011 Miss Ambhar Goddess crown. Ambhar Goddess preliminary winners will face-off in a final contest that will determine 2011s Ambhar Goddess to be held during the Cinco de Mayo holiday in Las Vegas next May.

CSI: The Experience, the popular, worldwide phenomenon based on the hit CBS show, celebrates an exceptional first year at MGM Grand on the Las Vegas Strip. In honor of the first anniversary, CSI: The Experience will donate $1 from every ticket sold during the anniversary celebration, September 20-26, to the Nevada Victims of Crime Program.
A challenging and fun multi-sensory attraction, CSI: The Experience places guests in the role of crime scene investigator as they solve one of three true-to-life mysteries. Spanning 12,000 square feet and featuring thousands of hand-made props, CSI: The Experience comes to life through a captivating multi-media environment featuring dazzling special effects, meticulous crime scene recreations and two state-of-the-art crime labs.

Alien Ant Farm headlined the final blowout for a packed house at Wasted Space last night. Guest appearance by heavy metal supergroup Hellyeah, who flew into Las Vegas after performing in Phoenix that night. Other bands in the line-up included Deuce, Kinda Major and eENIK.
With her upcoming nuptials to Russell Brand quickly approaching, Katy Perry celebrated one of her last night's as a single woman with a bachelorette party at Hard Rock. The large group, which included good friend Rihanna, checked into Casino Tower and started festivities in a private cabana at HRH Beach Club. The girls, decked out in beach attire and the typical risque bachelorette-themed items, ordered many drinks and food and were in lively spirits.
Later, the party continued at AGO, where Katy, Rihanna and the rest of the group enjoyed good food and company, getting up and taking photos throughout the meal.
After, the group took the party to their suite in Casino Tower, where an erotic cake was delivered to Katy
Ginnifer Goodwin, star of HBO’s “Big Love” and the blockbuster hit “He’s Just Not That Into You,” treated younger sister Melissa to a bachelorette weekend at The Palazzo September 17-19.
After a long day of filming, Ginnifer arrived at The Palazzo late Friday night to relax in her Siena suite, saying “Everything is so comfortable.”
The group of friends, including one who flew in all the way from England to help Melissa celebrate, loved the suites and kept talking about how nice their accommodations were. “They’re beside themselves with the rooms,” laughed Ginnifer.
During the afternoon on Saturday, the group went shopping at Barneys New York at The Shoppes at The Palazzo. Ginnifer looked effortlessly chic in a white sundress and Givenchy sandals while she and Melissa admired handbags. Ginnifer had fun styling her friends in brightly colored scarves and even their guy friend Mike got in on the action, sporting a periwinkle scarf while the group took pictures of each other.
After dropping off their shopping bags at the suites, the group headed down to AZURE Luxury pool to start partying. Melissa popped the champagne cork like a true professional and they toasted with Ciroc mojito shots. Ginnifer took charge of lunch, ordering Caesar and caprese salads and Wolfgang Puck’s famous pizza without sauce.
Saturday night the celebration continued at LAVO, with Bubbles and Blue Hpnotiq cocktails and a menu of LAVO’s signature Italian favorites. After fueling up for the evening they headed upstairs to the nightclub where they danced the night away to the sounds of DJ Reach while sipping cocktails. Ginnifer donned a nude ruffle blouse and black shorts while the bride-to-be wore white Mickey Mouse ears with a veil. The group received Hpnotiq’s bachelorette gift bags of party favors complete with glow sticks, rings and boas.
