1,000 Free Tickets of Jersey Boys!! 1,000 Pairs of Shoes!

New Pair of Shoes can be Redeemed for a Ticket from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. for 6:30 p.m. Performance on August 28; Shoe Donations to Benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas

JERSEY BOYS Las Vegas, the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, celebrates its 1000th performance at The Palazzo Resort-Hotel-Casino at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 28. To celebrate the milestone performance, JERSEY BOYS will host the “Walk Like a Man” shoe drive where fans can bring a pair of new children’s shoes to the theater lobby between 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. August 28 in exchange for a complimentary ticket to this special performance. A maximum of two pairs of shoes per person will be allowed and up to 1,000 tickets will be distributed to fans who participate in the shoe drive. The complimentary tickets are only valid for the 6:30 p.m. performance on August 28. All shoes will be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas.

JERSEY BOYS will donate 1,000 pairs of children’s shoes to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas just in time for the start of the new school year. Following the drive, the JERSEY BOYS cast will make the special delivery to the children of the Boys &; Girls Clubs of Las Vegas. The organization’s mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. More than 13,000 youth ages 5-18 are served in eight facilities throughout the Valley.

“We are thrilled, not only to celebrate this exciting milestone performance on the Las Vegas Strip, but to be able to give back to the children of Las Vegas at the same time,” said JERSEY BOYS producer Michael David.

JERSEY BOYS performs at The Palazzo Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 7 p.m.; Tuesday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. and dark on Wednesday. Ticket prices range from $67 to $147 plus tax and handling fees. The BEST SEATS IN THE HOUSE VIP Package is available for $235 per person, plus tax.

This afternoon the 2010 World MMA Awards announced Randy “The Natural” Couture as the host of the annual awards show. This year’s awards show is set to be bigger and better than ever.

The event, which will be held December 1, 2010 at The Pearl inside Palms Casino Resort features top fighters in the MMA world, celebrities and MMA lifestyle brands.

This is the third annual awards ceremony celebrating the success and achievement within the MMA industry. Sightings from Palms Casino and Bungalows!

Mixed martial arts fighter, Urijah Faber relaxed at Palms Pool & Bungalows at Palms Casino Resort with four friends around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday (8.15.10). Faber ate a breakfast burrito and a mixed fruit plate.

 

Returning to N9NE Steakhouse for a second night was Victor Rasuk, actor from HBO series How To Make It In America. Rasuk came in with two friends for a quick dinner. The table enjoyed Alaskan king crab legs for an appetizer. For his main entrée, Rasuk had the organic sautéed salmon complemented with a Caesar salad.  He paired his meal with Fiji water to drink.  

Also at the restaurant, was NBA player, Albert “Al” Harrington, who was accompanied by five others. Harrington, who sat in the private dining room, enjoyed the Kobe burger with a glass of lemonade.
