“DINING WITH THE DIVA” COOKING WILL NEVER BE A DRAG!

Guests can meet ‘n greet with Frank Marino, who will be adorned in one of his dazzling Divas Las Vegas costumes, as he signs his new cookbook,  Dining with the Diva. A portion of the proceeds from this whimsical book will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Nevada. The book offers a collection of over 120 vibrant photos and delightful recipes. This unique and entertaining cookbook is sure to become a kitchen’s centerpiece, with meals fit for a king…and queen!

 Cook books are available for purchase at the Imperial Palace box office for $20. (Proceeds of ongoing cookbook sales to also benefit the foundation.)

Good Times....Hard Rock Hotel and REHAB and CELEBS!!!

Lil Jon stopped by Hard Rock to eat at Johnny Smalls, party at the pool for REHAB during the day and then later that night at Vanity. He made it to the DJ booth at both places and managed to get the whole crowd dancing. At Vanity, he hung out with many ladies and held court in the DJ booth with DJ Five.

Also spotted at Vanity: Cleveland Cavaliers’ JJ Hickson and Christian Eyenga having a good time.

 Over at Wasted Space, MXPX performed to a lively crowd.

The BANK

On Saturday, July 17, pop punk singer Ke$ha entertained at The BANK. Ke$ha, along with a group of 30, comprised of touring band and crew, took over the VIP section! Ke$ha and her back up dancers danced on the banquettes calling the attention from The Bank crowd. The house DJ blared her song “Tik Tok” as she excitedly sang along! The singer and her crew had such an amazing time they stayed dancing until the early hours of the morning!

Also on Saturday, stand up comedian, television host and social critic Bill Maher dined at FIX. Maher was in Vegas on vacation with family and decided to dine at Fix ordering the Tomato Salad and Chicken. Making sure his sweet tooth was satisfied, Maher ended the meal with Fix’s signature donuts!


HAZE

On Friday, July 16, reality star Kelly Osbourne entertained at HAZE. Kelly was in Vegas with a few friends to celebrate a birthday. The group sat upstairs in VIP, overlooking the HAZE crowd. Kelly and friends sang and danced along to the skills of the DJ! Kelly even got the DJ to surprise her friend with a special birthday shout out!

On Saturday, July 17, singer Ray J spent the evening living it up at HAZE! Ray J made rounds through the HAZE crowd dancing with some ladies and inviting them over to his VIP table. He later got the crowd going standing on the banquettes, with hands in the air, moving along to the sounds of the DJ! The singer was having such a great time he stayed at Haze until closing time!


UNION

On Thursday, July 15, reality starlet and daughter of Ozzy Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne was in Vegas to celebrate her friend’s birthday and she wanted to treat him to a fantastic meal at UNION. The pals shared a selection of Union signature dishes including their favorite, the Ultimate Surf and Turf and the Organic Chicken

On Saturday, July 17, Steve Hutchinson of the Minnesota Vikings dined at Union. The offensive lineman enjoyed Union’s Tomahawk Rib Eye Steak with sides of cream spinach and butternut squash. The hearty meal was topped off with the warm churros!


YELLOWTAIL

On Friday, July 16, Charlotte Bobcats player Alan Anderson dined at YELLOWTAIL. Anderson was at Yellowtail with a few friends. The group shared a selection from the Greatest Hits menu including the Braised Kobe Beef Short Ribs and the Jidori Chicken. Anderson also enjoyed the Asian Pear cocktail!


On Saturday, July 17, pop punk sensation Ke$ha dined at YELLOWTAIL with her band and crew. The singer, in Vegas to perform her summer concert, enjoyed the Greatest Hits menu, especially raving about the Big Eye Tuna Pizza! The group of 30 truly loved the ambiance and overall hospitality at Yellowtail, thanking the staff and exclaiming that it was the perfect Vegas experience to dine at while traveling out on the road!

Ke$ha, one of the hottest pop stars on the planet, made sure the party didn’t stop the second she walked into Vegas’ hottest adult pool: Moorea Beach Club at Mandalay Bay! Sponsored by Grey Goose, the first
stop for the singer/songwriter was the red carpet where Ke$ha, wearing a black bathing suit, jean shorts, a red feather hair accessory, Ray Ban sunglasses, Chanel heels, and a colorful paint-on tattoo on both arms, posed for photos and conducted interviews.   Dozens of fans lined the carpet as they waited to catch a glimpse and get a photo of
the “Your Love Is My Drug” singer.

As soon as she arrived inside Moorea Beach Club, Ke$ha took a break from the sun and relaxed in her own private Moorea pavilion, a 250 square-foot cabana which boasts a private pool and lounge area complete with waterfalls. Each unit includes a television, MP3 docking station, cushioned chaise lounges, ceiling fan, telephone, and
personal server. While lounging in the cabana, Ke$ha and friends enjoyed delicious Moorea Beach Club cuisine as well as refreshing Patron and Absolut cocktails.

After a few minutes of relaxation and chatting with friends, Ke$ha surprised the Moorea Beach Club crowd with a high-energy, impromptu performance of her hit singles, “Tik Tok” and “Blah Blah Blah.”  The
crowd was pumped as they danced in the pool and sang along to the fun pop tunes. Ke$ha was full of energy as she worked the stage, along with her two back-up dancers, and got the crowd hyped up and in the
mood to party!

Immediately after the performance, Ke$ha headed to her gorgeous Mandalay Bay Sky View Suite to prepare for the evening. Located on the Penthouse level of the hotel, the 1,020 square foot suite has a large extended living room, wet bar, glass-encased shower, twin vanities, and a breathtaking view of the Las Vegas Strip. Ke$ha performed live at the Mandalay Bay Events center as she opened up the Last Girl On Earth tour for pop sensation, Rihanna!

NBA All Star!!! Parties at Vanity Nightclub!

This past week-end NBA All Star Amar'e Stoudemire was spotted partying at XS Nightclub inside Encore. In town for the NBA Summer League, the newly signed New York Knicks forward decided to time off his busy schedule to experience the award-winning mega club. Stoudemire was all smiles in the club as he hung out with Jesse Waits, managing partner of the mega club in a VIP booth. Fans were in awe as they crowded around the booth to get a glimpse of the young NBA star.

Up-and-Coming Artist Hosts Monthly Artist Showcase Series Monday, July 19 at Mandarin Bar

WHAT: “An Evening with Jessica Galindo” on Monday, July 19th at Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas is part of the monthly showcase series, highlighting a different local artist, photographer or per...former. The events, hosted in Mandarin Bar, provide guests with an intimate experience and personalized access to the talented individuals that live and work in Las Vegas. The showcase takes place on the third Monday of every month and is an enhancement to the existing Mandarin Mondays industry events.

WHO: Jessica Galindo, a self taught artist who has recently been featured in the pages of VEGAS, 944 and Las Vegas CityLife magazines, is a vibrant native of Las Vegas. Her body of work is a romantic fusion of acrylics, ink, and mixed media. The interplay of these combinations both compels and soothes, making her work incredibly ambient and immediately recognizable. WOW! Plenty of Celebs hang out at The Hard Rock!! Vanity Nightclub! Athletes Galore!

Rihanna was seen checking in to the HRH Tower at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. While there, she was spotted early in the week hanging at the HRH Beach Club with boyfriend Matt Kemp of the Los Angeles Dodgers. When Friday night hit, she was seen making a pre-concert appearance at Vanity Nightclub inside the Hard Rock Hotel. She arrived around 2am, stopping in on her friend's birthday celebration and was immediately seated in a VIP stage booth. She was dancing and having a great time with her band and dancers from her show while her songs played in the club. They celebrated with a bottles of champagne. While Rihanna departed before Vanity closed, her friends stayed the rest of the night and shut down the club Las Vegas style.


Larry Johnson of the NFL’s Washington Redskins was seen arriving at Vanity Nightclub at 1am with friends. He made several trips to the DJ booth to hang out with Vanity DJ Eric D-Lux. Johnson was having such a good time that he made his way down to the dance floor for a while and was seen enjoying a few cocktails.


Dontrelle Willis, starting pitcher for the San Francisco Giants arrived around midnight with friends and a lot of women. He made his way to the DJ booth and was spotted talking to Larry Johnson while there.

Vienna Girardi and Hpnotiq - Single & Fabulous! Sexy in white!

Hpnotiq toasted Vienna Girardi with a “Single & Fabulous” party at TAO Beach on Saturday. The newly single TV personality was joined by friends including Ashleigh Hunt, who also competed for Jake Pavelka’s love on The Bachelor, Amber Lancaster from MTV’s The Hard Times of RJ Berger, Miss Florida Rachel Todd and Jesse Csincsak, winner of the fourth season of The Bachelorette. The group took over the grand cabana overlooking the pool and Vienna got on the mic to shout out to all of the single and fabulous ladies at TAO Beach, offering Hpnotiq shots to everyone. A parade of whale and dolphin pool floats made their way to the cabana led by two shirtless TAO Beach hunks carrying a cake from Gimme Some Sugar for the hostess. The sweet treat was topped with sugar versions of Vienna herself and bottles of Hpnotiq. The group tossed “Team Vienna” tank tops to the crowd and rounded out the day with favorites from the TAO kitchen.
