UFC Celebs and Winners Party! Rashad Evans and Forrest Griffin and MORE! Pics!

MGM Grand buzzed with energy this Memorial Weed-end after the highly anticipated UFC 114 mixed martial arts battle resulted in a unanimous win for Rashad Evans. Hundreds of loyal fans gathered outside TabĂș Ultra Lounge to catch a glimpse of the champion as he entered the sophisticated hot spot for his official post-fight party to celebrate the victory. Upon his arrival, the crowd wildly cheered with congratulations for the sharply dressed Evans, who was all smiles in his blue-checkered button-down, navy tie and suit. The UFC winner basked in the glory of his success with an entourage 30-deep, including his supportive wife LaToya.

Once inside the sexy ultra lounge, fans applauded Evans as he made his way to the exclusive VIP lounge. The champion immediately started dancing and remained on his feet throughout the night enjoying the killer beats of DJ MattyMatt. The electric party scene continued through early morning, with the packed crowd dancing to hits like Lil John’s “Get Out of Your Mind.” Famed UFC announcer Bruce Buffer made a surprise appearance at TabĂș and took to the mic to offer congratulations to the man of the hour.

Meanwhile, Studio 54 welcomed celebrity UFC fighters Forrest Griffin, Josh Koscheck, Cain Velasquez and fans at its post-fight party. Injured Griffin appeared to be having the time of his life despite his arm brace, as he playfully posed on the red carpet with Studio 54 models. Dressed in a simple t-shirt and sweat pants, Griffin mastered the art of boyish charm. Koscheck arrived to the iconic nightclub wearing a cut-off t-shirt and classic Converse tennis shoes. Velasquez threw up fighting arms and peace signs as he posed for the cameras. The fighters mingled and took pictures with overjoyed fans before making their way into the famed Vegas destination to party to the sounds of resident DJ Skribble.

Australian Rock Group Air Supply plays this week-end!!

Air Supply Perform Their Hits at The Orleans Showroom May 28-30

Australian soft-rock group Air Supply quickly became a staple of early ‘80s radio after their first smash hit, “Lost in Love.” Performing together for more than 30 years, Air Supply returns to The Orleans Showroom May 28, 29 and 30.

Englishman Graham Russell and Australian Russell Hitchcock met in 1975 while performing in the Australian production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Later that year, the duo formed Air Supply and released their first smash hit and self-titled debut album, reaching gold in Australia. After opening for Rod Stewart’s tour in the United States in the late ‘70s, Air Supply had an international breakthrough and signed a distribution deal with Artista Records in 1980.

Their album, Lost in Love, featured three U.S. top five singles, including the title track, which was the fastest-selling single in the world; “Every Woman in the World”; and “All Out of Love,” which hit No. 11 in the United Kingdom’s Top 40 charts. Throughout the next three years, Air Supply produced hit after hit, including “Just Another Woman,” “The One That You Love,” “Here I Am,” “Sweet Dreams,” “Even The Nights Are Better” and “Making Love Out Of Nothing At All,” which reached No. 2 on the Billboard charts in 1983.

Producing 30 albums and more than 15 hit singles, Air Supply has become a worldwide sensation, touring in Australia, Asia, India, the United States and the Caribbean. In 2008, as the only Australian band on the list, Air Supply was named No. 83 on Billboard’s top 100 musical acts of all time.

Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets are available starting from $39.95, plus tax and convenience fees, and can be purchased by calling the Box Office at 702.365.7075 or visiting www.orleanscasino.com. Save on convenience fees by purchasing the tickets in person at Coast Casinos.

A VERY Rare Card! From the Titanic! On display now!

Rediscover The RMS Titanic One Artifact at a Time Artifact Feature: Ten of Clubs As players from all around the globe come to Sin City for The World Series of Poker beginning May 27, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition invites guests to learn more about the history of card playing. Recovered in 1993, this American steamboat playing card is one of 52 from a pack found among the personal effects of Howard A. Irwin and can be found inside the Exhibition at Luxor Hotel & Casino. Many first-class gentlemen sailing on Titanic thought of card games as a pleasant social distraction. However, the ship had several “card sharks” on board and Captain Smith advised his wealthy passengers to use caution when sitting down to gamble. He also instructed his stewards to break up games in which a known “shark” was cleaning out his opponent’s wallet. Did you know? * The bottom of the deep ocean is a very hostile environment and over time man-made objects are being consumed by bacteria. Even the ship itself is slowly being destroyed by iron-eating microorganisms and will one day collapse on the ocean floor. However, the tanning process for leather in the early 1900s was such that the microorganisms on the bottom of the ocean cannot eat through it and paper items found inside wallets or suitcases, like the playing card, have been protected. Any time excavators find leather, they know a treasure trove of artifacts is inside. The Nevada desert may seem an unlikely place to discover artifacts from miles below the North Atlantic, but Las Vegas is home to one of the largest RMS Titanic artifact collections in the world. Premier Exhibitions, Inc. manages the expansive collection at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition and repeat guests discover a new treasure each time they peruse through its galleries. Tickets for Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition are $27 for adults, $20 for children, $25 for seniors and $24 with a Nevada ID. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with the last tickets being sold at 9 p.m. Become a Facebook fan by visiting Facebook.com.
