American alternative band, Lifehouse partied at a VIP table at Moon Nightclub inside Palms Casino Resort Tuesday for Local Love Tuesday. They arrived around midnight with four friends and sipped on Ketel One mixed drinks. Also at Moon Nightclub was NBA player for the Miami Heat, Jermaine O’Neal. Dressed in jeans, a white t-shirt and jewelry, O’Neal was accompanied by his wife and four friends. They drank Red Bull mixed drinks. At Playboy Club, Kansas City Chiefs running back, Larry Johnson, checked out the scene and played blackjack for a short while. The Village at Lake Las Vegas adds “Movies al Fresco” to their list of fun, ongoing summer activities. Beginning Thursday, June 4 these weekly, family-friendly movie nights are free and shown on the lawn at 8 p.m.

The band released Wake Me When It’s Over in 1989, which earned gold status and included the Top 40 hit song “House of Pain.” The band released one more album, and parted ways shortly thereafter. In 2001, Faster Pussycat reformed with original lead singer Taime Downe at the helm. Bang Tango is a glam metal band spliced with a bit of funk. The band released multiple albums throughout the late ’80s and early ’90s, including Psycho Café that featured the single “Someone Like You.” After taking a hiatus, the band got back together in 1998 and released its greatest hits album, Greatest Tricks. Former world champion Clarence “Bones” Adams and title contender Almazbek “Kid Diamond” Raiymkulov headline a “Sterling Night of Fights” presented by Sterling Promotions of Las Vegas Friday, June 12, 2009 at The Pearl inside the Palms Casino Resort.
