Las Vegas Poets Organization Informational Meeting at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

Having an informational meeting to discuss opportunities on how to help with the organization. Their attorney/counsel will be present to inform interested individuals wanting to serve on our advisory board and/or be an officer

The meeting will take place before our Anniversary show at the Word-Up Poetry Reading where they be discussing the year in poetry 2010, the initiatives for 2011, and how to bring better awareness to the thriving Vegas poetry community.

6pm, before the Word-Up Poetry Reading.

The Dream and Bret "The Hitman" at N9NE!

R&B musician known as The-Dream (real name Terius Nash) dined at N9NE Steakhouse inside Palms Casino Resort Friday night.  Accompanied by a large party of 12, they enjoyed dinner in the private dining room where they indulged in rock shrimp, lobster bisque and bone-in rib eye steak.  For dessert, The-Dream feasted on the chocolate cake.

Also spotted in the steakhouse was retired professional wrestler, Bret “The Hitman” Hart.  Hart was seen hanging out with Executive Chef Barry S. Dakake and signing his Shakedown Door.

Over at Rain Nightclub, Seattle Seahawks athlete Golden Tate enjoyed the scene from his VIP table inside the HARLEM Room.

Friday night Glee’s Darren Criss was spotted dining at TAO with friends, a day in advance of his birthday celebration at LAVO.  The group enjoyed specialty cocktails along with Lobster Wontons, Sushi and a variety of vegetarian dishes.  After dinner they made their way to the nightclub. 

Also spotted in the club, Anthony Smith of the Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers and Quinn Ojinnaka of the New England Patriots.  Both NFL pros stuck to water while taking in the sounds of guest DJ Ross One.
