Joe Weider’s Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend, the pinnacle of bodybuilding events, returns to the Orleans Arena on Sept. 15-17.
For the 11th consecutive year, the Mr. Olympia contest—an annual bodybuilding competition sanctioned by the International Federation of Bodybuilders Professional League (IFBB Pro League)—will take center stage at the Orleans Arena. Bodybuilding legends like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lee Haney, Ronnie Coleman, and Las Vegas’ own Jay Cutler have all previously been crowned Mr. Olympia.
Athletes will compete in eight separate divisions as the Mr. Olympia finals caps off the exhilarating weekend. Phil “The Gift” Heath will compete for his sixth consecutive Mr. Olympia title while world-renowned competitors will attempt to dethrone him, including former Mr. Olympia Dexter Jackson, Shawn Rhoden, Mamdouh Elssbiay, Dennis Wolf, Roelly Winklaar, and making his return to the stage after 13 years away, the man who many call the “greatest bodybuilder to never win” the title of Mr. Olympia: Kevin Levrone.
On Thursday, Sept. 15, fans can meet the superstars at Meet the Olympians at Orleans Arena, held on the Concourse Level. VIP ticket holders and Platinum Members will be granted early entry at 7 p.m. The event is open to the general public, free of charge at 8 p.m.
