Carly Rae Jepsen

Venetian Theater

Multi-platinum GRAMMY®-nominated singer and songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen will ring in the New Year at Venetian Las Vegas during three concert performances:  Dec. 30, and 31, 2015 and Jan. 2, 2016.  Jepsen will perform her headline shows inside The Venetian Theatre.

Carly Rae Jepsen released her critically acclaimed new album E·MO·TION on Aug. 21, earning a host of positive reviews from such outlets as Rolling Stone, Stereogum, People, NPR, and TIME magazine, which deemed E·MO·TION, “the current frontrunner for pop album of the year.”   The first single released from the album, “I Really Like You,” became a global Top 40 hit, while the video is Vevo Certified with more than 100 million views.  Jepsen’s new single “Run Away with Me” is out now.

E·MO·TION is the follow-up to Jepsen’s U.S. debut album Kiss, which featured her blockbuster break-out hit “Call Me Maybe.” The single climbed to No. 1 on the iTunes Singles charts in more than 47 countries and has sold more than 18 million singles worldwide to date. It earned Jepsen 2012 GRAMMY nominations for Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year. Kiss also spawned the follow-up hit “Good Time,” a duet with Owl City, which has been certified double-platinum. Jepsen spent much of 2014 starring in the Broadway production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, earning rave reviews.  Carly will also star as “Frenchy” in GREASE: LIVE airing Sunday, January 31 on FOX.

Jepsen will perform in the Venetian Theatre at 8 p.m. on Dec. 30 and Jan. 2.  On New Year’s Eve, she will perform at 10 p.m.

Tickets start at $55.50 (plus applicable fees) on all nights but New Year’s Eve.  On Dec. 31, tickets start at $75.50 (plus applicable fees).  Tickets go on sale Thursday, Nov. 5 at 10 a.m. PST at any box office at The Venetian or The Palazzo Box, online at or by calling (702) 414-9000 or (866) 641-7469.

“Miss Jepsen is a phenomenally talented singer, songwriter and actress,” said George Markantonis, president and chief operating officer of The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo. “We’re excited to bring somebody of her appeal to The Venetian Theatre and we can’t wait to have her ring in the New Year with us.”

At midnight on New Year’s Eve, the entire Las Vegas Strip gets into the party with approximately 80,000 pyrotechnic shells deployed from 11 casino rooftops – including The Venetian.  Officially called “America’s Party 2016,” the Las Vegas New Year’s Eve party was named one of the top places in the world to celebrate the holiday by Fodor’s, Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine and National Geographic.
