Cosmoprof Las Vegas 2015 Beauty Finds And Favorites!

They say that Las Vegas is the convention capital of the world. It is with first hand experience and with authority that I can say that we are! Cosmoprof North America came to Las Vegas July 12 - 14 2015 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center - www.cosmoprofnorthamerica.com/. If you are on the East Coast Cosmoprof will be in New York from September 16-17th at the Hilton Midtown Hotel. Do you love beauty products, hair products, everything beauty? Then be sure and attend on either coast. 

This year Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) brought back its exclusive initiative SPOTLIGHTS, which debuted within the Discover Beauty program, for the fourth consecutive year. The initiative highlighted small artisanal brands with unique product ranges that are relatively new to the marketplace and a prime fit for high-end retail stores, boutiques, salons and spas. Centrally located within the Discover Beauty area of the show, SPOTLIGHTS is a curated initiative welcoming the best of niche prestige beauty brands. A popular destination for attendees and buyers, the highly stylized area gives the feeling of walking through a high-end department store where the open layout gives way to the individual brands displayed on select countertops. Another amazing find at Cosmoprof; the Pockette! Which claims that it will blow you away and it does! Why use a single ply tissue when you could have a luxurious scented 4-ply tissue pack? These tissues were a obsession for two tissue smuggling globetrotters - Beauty Mogul George Schaeffer (former OPI owner) and Family Therapist Tom Cohn. They found the European tissues to be more durable, soft and scented. Soon a partnership was forged and here in the U.S. we are able to enjoy the softness, durability, luxurious, unscented, mint or lavender scented tissues.  Once you use these tissues it is really hard to return to using regular two ply thin tissue. I must admit that these tissues have become a secret obsession and I find myself hoarding them also and treating them as special occasion tissues. Smokey Eye Duo Purple

We were introduced to the Kryolan product line a few years ago and were so happy so see the beautiful booth. This makeup line has two uses, one for the true makeup aficionado and one for the  professional makeup artist. They manufacture their own makeup and have been doing it for three generations and 70 years. What did we find? The new Smokey Eye trio which is an elegant  mirror set with three colors.
