Scott Disick and an entourage including Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Rob Kardashian celebrated “Lord Disick’s” 30th birthday at Hyde Bellagio with a blowout bash. The birthday boy arrived on the red carpet looking sharp in a fitted tuxedo, arm-in-arm with his longtime girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian. Leaving their two young children Mason and Penelope at home with family, the Vegas weekend provided a quick escape for the couple.  

Disick’s entourage was met on the red carpet by dozens of adoring fans and a frenzy of photographers. Smiling for photos with Scott on the red carpet, Kourtney showed off her svelte figure in a black feathered skirt and body-hugging blue lace bodice, pointy black heels and a sleek bun. Kris Jenner, who dazzled in a shimmery sequined black dress and a Chanel bag, was eager to join her daughter and Scott on the carpet, but Rob Kardashian was noticeably camera shy – hanging out behind the group before making his way directly into the club. 

Scott and his group of friends and family made their way through the packed club and settled into a plush VIP table as the DJ blasted a custom “Lord Disick” anthem set to the tune of Two Chainz’ “I’m Different.” Fans clambered around the table trying to catch a glimpse of The Lord as the group toasted to the big 3-0 with flutes of champagne. Scott was joined by friends who had flown in from across the globe to celebrate his birthday, and the guys enjoyed catching up, dancing and drinking. Despite their relationship’s rocky past, Kourtney was noticeably affectionate towards Scott and seemed to genuinely enjoy letting lose for a night of celebration.

Scott shocked the crowd by jumping into the DJ booth to rap alongside his pal DJ Reach for a high-energy remix of Rihanna featuring Kanye West’s, “Diamonds.” Later on, Hyde presented the reality star with a Lord Disick-style cake adorned with a life-size frosting tie and an elaborate jewel-encrusted crown. Hyde also sent their famous gilded boat through the club to deliver a bottle of birthday bubbly to accompany the cake. Disick’s group grew throughout the evening, overflowing into neighboring tables as the friends enjoyed drinking and dancing into the early morning hours at the fountain-side hotspot. Before heading to their suites to continue the celebration, the reality star tweeted, “Thank you @hydebellagio @sbenightlife for a great #vegasbirthday!”

  

Sayer Sessions

 Sunday night was the last of three Memorial Day Weekend celebrations at Hyde Bellagio. On Friday, the nightclub welcomed The Sayers Sessions’ band, known for raw live performances and impromptu celebrity ensembles at sbe’s acclaimed live-music venue The Sayers Club in Los Angeles. The ensemble band delivered sizzling renditions of much-loved cover songs spanning all musical genres and decades. On Saturday night, breakout indie dance group, Capital Cities, performed an intimate live set for fans which included their song “Safe and Sound” and “Kangaroo Court.” Lead singers Ryan Merchant and Sebu Simonian were accompanied by the full five-piece band for a performance that rocked the house and had passionate fans singing along.

Chris Tucker Brings Laughs To The Pearl! YES In Vegas!

Sunday night Chris Tucker brought an energy-packed show to The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort. The comedian who has been in the news the last year or so for tax issues opened up the show talking about his IRS issues saying that this tour “should be called the IRS Tour because they’re getting all the money!” The actor and comedian who was clad in the same outfit he wears in the show ads (adding that he dressed the same because he wanted the audience to know it was really him!), had the crowd laughing the whole night with his physical brand of comedy, impressions and larger-than-life stage presence.

Comedian George Wallace was in attendance and caught up with Chris, along with rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny backstage at The Pearl following the show.

Chris Tucker is best known for his role of Detective James Carter in the “Rush Hour” film series. Starting his career as a stand up comedian, Tucker’s bold sense of humor landed him a spot on “Def Comedy Jam” where he frequently performed in the 1990s.

PHARRELL At PURE Nightclub In Vegas! MDW13!

PURE Nightclub at Caesars Palace Hotel & Casino was a sight to see as GRAMMY Award-winning artist Pharrell Williams took over the mega-club for a special Memorial Day Weekend performance Saturday, May 25. Arriving to the award-winning hot spot around 12:30 a.m., the former Neptunes member hit the red carpet where he posed for photographers and waved to on-looking partygoers as they flocked to catch a glimpse of the star.

Making his way through the packed nightclub, thousands of clubgoers screamed as he passed by and shook the hands of many. The energy of the main room erupted as Williams appeared at his VIP booth located on the main stage. As the superstar stepped up to greet the crowd, the sea of devoted fans rushed the stage. Preparing for his performance the humble singer relaxed at his table along with a few of his closest friends.

Just after 1 a.m., the lights of the club went dim and the energy of the iconic destination soared with excitement as Williams took his place center stage.  “Welcome to PURE,” he stated and continue to talk about his latest project “Happy,” the theme song he wrote for the upcoming motion picture “Despicable Me 2,” and gave his fans a little sneak peak. The hip-hop sensation put on an unforgettable performance as he sang hit after hit including “Frontin’,” “I Just Wanna Love You,” “Excuse Me Miss,” “Blurred Lines” and many more. Throughout the performance he encouraged his fans to sing along as he held his mic out to the audience. Nearing the end of his mini-concert, Williams addressed the crowd and said, “I want to come out there and dance with you!” As he set down his mic and headed towards the stairs, the energy of the room reached an all-time high. As his latest hit “Get Lucky” played, the icon emerged in the middle of the masses, made his way through the dance floor, around the entire nightclub and back to his VIP table while he danced and posed for pictures with his devoted fans.

Friday night, TAO launched Memorial Day Weekend with hip hop legend Nas. Throughout the day, the Queens rapper took over TAO’s Instagram, @taolasvegas, and posted photos leading up to his performance. Nas first dined in the restaurant beside TAO's iconic 20-foot floating Buddha where he was joined by a group of friends. Afterward, he made his way into the nightclub and was welcomed by the packed crowd as DJ Eric D-Lux announced his arrival. Nas took in the party scene at his VIP table on the dance floor as fans clamored to snap a photo of the music maven. Soon afterward he treated the club to a special performance of hip hop staples including, "You Can Hate Me Now," "If I Ruled the World," "Nas is Like," "It Ain’t Hard to Tell" and "Made you Look." In between songs he wished the crowd a happy Memorial Day Weekend and stated, "It's good to be here. I want to thank TAO for bring me out," as well as reminded the crowd to "live your life to the fullest."

R&B singer Ashanti was also spotted partying with Nas and friends at TAO that night.

Nevada Public Radio once again gives listeners the unique opportunity to participate in its annual summer excursions to well-known theatre destinations in Utah—Tuacahn Amphitheatre, Utah Shakespeare Festival and Neil Simon Festival. Reservations are being accepted and limited space is available.

The first planned trip of the summer takes participants to Tuacahn Amphitheatre, June 28 and 29, where they will stay overnight at the Abbey Inn in St. George. Guests will see three musical productions – “Mary Poppins,” “Disney’s Mulan” and Andrew Lloyd Weber’s “Starlight Express.” Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy Tuacahn’s Saturday Market. Reservations for this trip must be made by May 29.

On July 26 and 27, Nevada Public Radio takes guests to Cedar City, Utah for the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Guests will stay overnight at the Abbey Inn and will see four productions – “Anything Goes,” “King John,” a choice of “Peter and the Starcatcher” or “The Tempest” and a choice of “Twelve Angry Men” or “Love’s Labour’s Lost.” Reservations for this trip must be made by June 25.

The final excursion of the summer will be at the Neil Simon Festival, August 9-10, also in Cedar City, Utah. Guests will stay overnight at the Abbey Inn and will see four productions – “The Sunshine Boys,” “45 Seconds From Broadway,” “Song-Poems Wanted!,” and “Lost in Yonkers.” Reservations for this trip must be made by July 8.

Per person prices for the summer theatre excursions range from $225-$315 (double occupancy) and $275-$365 (single occupancy). Price includes show tickets, private coach transportation and hotel accommodations. For each trip, a boxed lunch will be provided on Friday in route to the destination, and breakfast is provided on Saturday morning.

Limited space is available for each excursion. The private coach departs from and returns to Nevada Public Radio, 1289 S. Torrey Pines Dr., Las Vegas, Nevada 89146.

For all excursions, to allow guests the opportunity to see as many shows as possible and bear only the cost of one overnight, the private coach will likely return to Nevada Public Radio at midnight or after on Saturday/Sunday.

Proceeds from all theatre excursions will directly benefit and must be purchased through Nevada Public Radio.

Country Artist Katie Armiger Donates Dress For Charity!

Hard Rock LIVE on the Las Vegas Strip welcomed Country artist Katie Armiger Tuesday 5/22 for a special fundraising performance.

The event was co-sponsored by 102.7 The Coyote was to benefit Children’s Miracle Network. Katie performed four songs off of her current album Fall Into Me and donated 100% of the sales of her CD from the night to Children’s Miracle Network.  Katie also hosted a meet & greet with her fans afterwards.

The accomplished young star also donated a dress designed by Joanna Chen from her appearance at the Grand Ole Opry in August 2012; which coincidentally was the same night her video for “Better In A Black Dress” went to #1, to the Hard Rock International Memorabilia Collection.

Armiger is currently touring in support of her critically acclaimed 4th release, Fall Into Me. Armiger co-wrote all fourteen songs on Fall Into Me, which she totes as a diary of the past two years of her life. Having opted to once again work with Grammy award-winning producer, Chad Carlson, on her 4th release allowed Katie to have quite a bit of control over the album’s direction. Katie has opened for some of the biggest artists in country including Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Darius Rucker and most recently shared the stage with the legendary George Jones in his final concert. HERAEA inside Palms Casino Resort hosted the official launch party for Optical Panacea, a cutting edge art that blends the imagery of a background photo with a series of athlete action shots. Famed mixed martial artist came out last night to view the artistic photos that many of them were the inspiration for and to celebrate with the photographer, Sam Hon on his accomplishments. UFC Fighters including Urijah Faber, Phil Davis, Frank Trigg and Ramsey Nijem walked the HERAEA red carpet Friday night before heading inside the sports restaurant. UFC ring girl, Arianny Celeste posed on the red carpet in style, sporting a Black Angel dress and a pair of spiked Louboutins. Once inside the sports lounge the celeb guests and photographer watched a video showing the making the of the art pieces before enjoying drinks and food.

VH1's "Mob Wives" Drita Does Vegas In Style! Appears At Crazy Horse III

VH1's "Mob Wives" star Drita D'Avanzo celebrated Memorial Day Weekend at Crazy Horse III Gentlemen's Club in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

D'Avanzo arrived at the spacious club sporting a curve-hugging black Escada dress paired with sky-high bebe stilettos. The brunette bombshell posed for photos with a swarm of eager fans and signed countless autographs.

The feisty East Coast diva spent the evening in a plush VIP table and sipped on Ciroc cocktails and Dom Perignon champagne. D'Avanzo was all smiles when she was  presented with a patriotic red, white and blue cake in honor of Memorial Day.

The "Mob Wives" firecracker spent the night dancing to songs like Rihanna's "S&M" and "Can't Hold Us" by Mackelmore . The crowd went wild when D'Avanzo  got on the microphone and said, "Vegas knows how to party! I love Crazy Horse III!"
