Ashlee Simpson-Wentz comes to Wet Republic for what promises to be another slammed Saturday as she hosts her birthday party along with Jessica Simpson and family.

Z-Trip’s Revolution features specialty artwork created by Shepard Fairey, renowned contemporary artist, graphic designer and illustrator. Fairey’s work exploded into the American psyche with the iconic Barack Obama “HOPE” poster during the 2008 U.S. presidential election. The Smithsonian, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, New York’s Museum of Modern Art, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London all include Fairey’s work in their collections. Z-Trip’s Revolution begins at Rain Nightclub on Friday, Oct. 16, 2009. DJ Z-Trip will spin on the following dates with select nights featuring cutting edge collaborations with other musicians and DJs (TBA): Oct. 30 (with special guest, DJ P); Nov. 6; Nov. 13 (with special guest, MSTRKRFT); Dec. 4; Dec. 31; Jan. 8; Jan. 22; Feb. 5; and Feb. 26.
Celebrity guest DJs will fuel the pulse with their own unique mash-ups at Z-Trip’s Revolution on Oct. 23 – Will.I.Am; Nov. 20 – Jazzy Jeff; Nov. 27 – DJ Skribble; and Dec. 11 – DJ Vice.

Dead By Sunrise, the side project of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, performed its first full Las Vegas show inside Wasted Space. In addition to Bennington, the band features the combined talents of Amir Derakh and Ryan Shuck of the band Orgy, Brandon Belsky and Elias Andra from the group Julien-K and Anthony "Fu" Valcic.
Aaron Lewis, lead singer of rock group Staind, spotted getting tattooed by guest artist BJ Betts at Hart & Huntington Tattoo Co. The singer had an American flag tattooed on the inside of his left arm and the words “Don’t Tread On Me” tattooed across his throat.
Over at Nobu, radio personality Howard Stern was seen dining with his wife Beth.

Join Jana Cruder for the grand opening of SPACE. Guests can enjoy music and cocktails while browsing Cruder’s artwork that will be displayed and available for purchase.
SPACE features an open floor plan with individual office units that cater to creative business professionals who need an area outside of their home to work. Rooms in the 24-hour facility come complete with built-in desks, phone access and Internet service that can be rented out on a month-to-month basis, while the large front room of the studio is great for workshops, events, meetings and lectures.
There will be an ongoing photo shoot documenting First Friday that all guests will actively participate in. Additionally, a slide show of previous studio visitors will be displayed on the wall.
