Golden Nugget Las Vegas, in conjunction with Southern Wine and Spirits, is creating the perfect blend of fantasy and mystery with their first annual Mardi Gras themed Masquerade Ball held in Gold Diggers, March 5, from 8 p.m.-12 a.m.

Partygoers are invited to dance the night away to the high energy beats of DJ Big Easy, while sampling food from authentic Cajun-Creole inspired cuisine.

Guests are encouraged to dress to impress in their favorite club chic attire, while sipping drinks from the Golden Nugget’s full service bars. For those looking to have the ultimate Masquerade experience, VIP table reservations may be made with full bottle service at a special price of $175 (plus taxes and gratuity) for premium brands such as Grey Goose, Patrón, Tanqueray Ten Gin and others.

Table reservations can be made in advance and a $175 bottle minimum is required.

Entertainment will continue throughout the evening with specialty face painters and cover charge is $15* per person, or $25 per couple when purchased in advance. The meeting will take place before our Anniversary show at the Word-Up Poetry Reading where they be discussing the year in poetry 2010, the initiatives for 2011, and how to bring better awareness to the thriving Vegas poetry community.

The Dream and Bret "The Hitman" at N9NE!

R&B musician known as The-Dream (real name Terius Nash) dined at N9NE Steakhouse inside Palms Casino Resort Friday night.  Accompanied by a large party of 12, they enjoyed dinner in the private dining room where they indulged in rock shrimp, lobster bisque and bone-in rib eye steak.  For dessert, The-Dream feasted on the chocolate cake.

Also spotted in the steakhouse was retired professional wrestler, Bret “The Hitman” Hart.  Hart was seen hanging out with Executive Chef Barry S. Dakake and signing his Shakedown Door.

Over at Rain Nightclub, Seattle Seahawks athlete Golden Tate enjoyed the scene from his VIP table inside the HARLEM Room.
