Lightweight Erik "New Breed" Koch will square off against Shane Campbell. Koch comes to the fight with a 14-4 record and has won 50 percent of his fights by submission.

Military Members Enter For FREE! Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas Says Thank You

Military families often face certain challenges. Deployments can be long and arduous ordeals for those being deployed and the families that are left behind. But this Memorial Day weekend, Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas is dedicated to putting smiles on the faces of those who have served their country so selflessly.

With that idea in mind, six local military families will get the royal treatment while visiting the park, enjoying the day free of charge, complete with a poolside cabana, food, drink, Xpress Bands and souvenirs.

On a broader scale, from May 28 to May 30, military members (both active and veterans) will get into Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas for free, with their family members also receiving a discounted day ticket for only $19.99.  Military members only need to show Military ID at the box office.

The park will also begin its full-time operating schedule for this season on Friday, May 27.  Spending time enjoying the park’s more than 25 rides and attractions is the perfect way to beat the heat.

New Restaurant Beauty & Essex Has Beautiful Ciara Over For Dinner

It was star-studded night at the all new Beauty & Essex in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas following the 2016 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.

After hosting the awards, Ciara headed to the restaurant where she had dinner with a group of friends. Fellow host Ludacris was also spotted enjoying a post-show meal at a separate table.

After her tribute performance to Prince at the award show, Madonna arrived to Beauty & Essex in a two-piece red sequin suite with a group of 30 people. They took to the Jewelry Box Private Dining Room where they were joined by Ariana Grande and boyfriend Ricky Alvarez. Cocktails and a special menu from Chef Chris Santos flowed throughout the party.

After having dinner with a group of friends, Snapchat guru DJ Khaled headed into the private dining room to congratulate  Madonna on a job well done.

Also in attendance was Kelly Rowland who wore a floor length purple dress and dined with her new girl group from the show “Chasing Destiny”.

Wrapping up the evening at Beauty & Essex, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian along with Malika and Khadijah Haqq were seen enjoying a late night bite at the restaurant where they snacked on the avocado toast.

At LAVO Italian Restaurant in The Palazzo, Wiz Khalifa took over the private dining room where he celebrated his two Billboard Music Awards wins with his mother and a group of friends.

The Pool AT The Plaza Is All NEW! LV Locals FREE!

After a multimillion dollar renovation adding brand new resort-style furnishings, a wet deck, hot tub, refurbished outdoor recreation space and its own food truck, the rooftop Pool at the Plaza will celebrate its grand opening with festivities for hotel guests and the general public on Saturday, July 2 at the Plaza Hotel & Casino. The entire renovated pool deck encompasses approximately 70,000 sq. ft., making it one of the largest in downtown Las Vegas.

Creating a rooftop pool experience unlike any other in downtown Las Vegas, the Pool at the Plaza is a “retro Palm Springs-meets classic downtown Las Vegas” inspired outdoor space. The renovations refurbished and redesigned the pool to include a wet deck with several lily pad daybeds. The Plaza also added a 12-person hot tub, new chaise lounge chairs, greenery, gaming, and multiple dining areas with a new bar and several food options, including the pool’s own food truck. Six brand new cabana suites available for rental provide guests with a private poolside retreat, complete with televisions, fans, refrigerators and safes as well as a complimentary fruit plate and cheese and cracker tray.

The renovations also refurbished adjacent tennis and basketball courts and added dedicated Pickleball courts, making the Plaza the only hotel/casino in Las Vegas with dedicated courts for this fast growing sport. With space for a stage, the Plaza plans to offer a lineup of live entertainment to include weekend DJs, concerts and special events.

Guests can relax with a refreshing cocktail poolside or at the walk up bar. And no one will go hungry as the Pool at the Plaza offer food service from Pop Up Pizza and Zaba’s Mexican Grill located onsite or from the pool’s own food truck. Headed by Shawn Giordano, the food truck will offer a unique menu of seaside street food inspired by classic California cuisine, such as ahi tuna poke lettuce wraps, crispy rice paper tacos and lobster rolls. Giordano comes to the Plaza with decades of culinary experience, beginning his career over 20 years ago working for Wolfgang Puck opening Spago in Beverly Hills and Trattoria del Lupo at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino then as private chef to famed photographer, Annie Leibovitz, and most recently, heading up the kitchen at downtown Las Vegas eatery PublicUs.

The Plaza will celebrate the Pool’s official grand opening with festivities throughout the July Fourth holiday weekend, starting with a weekend-long BBQ beginning at 11 a.m. each day featuring entertainment from a local DJ. In the evening, on Saturday, July 2, the Plaza will hold a grand opening celebration with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. for a special performance of the Johnny Cash tribute band, Cash’d Out at 8:30 p.m. The night will culminate with a fireworks show off of the roofs of the Plaza’s two towers by Advanced Entertainment Services at 9:30 p.m.

On Sunday, July 3 and Monday, July 4, the Plaza will also host a Pickleball exhibition and round robin in conjunction with players from the USA Pickleball Association (USAPA).

Admission to the pool is free for hotel guests and residents (with local identification), of all ages. Reservations of the tennis, basketball and Pickleball courts and all necessary equipment is available for a nominal charge per person.

The Italian-born actor, who competed on the 19th season of the hit television show "Dancing with the Stars," enjoyed a romantic row on the property's famed gondolas with his wife and son while being serenaded by their gondolier. Afterward, the family dined at Buddy V's Ristorante by "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro at The Grand Canal Shoppes.

Model and actor Antonio Sabàto Jr. gained popularity in the 1990s first as a model for Calvin Klein, then as an actor on the long-running soap opera "General Hospital." Cheryl Moana Marie is a recording artist, model, writer, producer, and former Oakland Raiderette. They married in 2012.

Comedian/Actor Jonathan Kite Stops By Hyde Bellagio

Last night on May 21, actor and comedian Jonathan Kite celebrated a friend’s bachelor party at Hyde Bellagio. The group of eight sipped on Jack Daniel’s and Ketel One, dancing into the early morning hours as DJ Jace One kept the beats bumping from behind the turntables.

Kite is an American actor, comedian and impressionist. Best known for his current role as Oleg Golishevsky on CBS’ hit Sitcom 2 Broke Girls, Kite continues to make a name for himself as a stand-up comedian boasting over 50 celebrity impressions including Vince Vaughn, Tom Hanks and Liam Neeson.
