iHeartMedia has added Lee Brice to the lineup for its Daytime Village at the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Festival. The Daytime Village will return to the MGM Resorts Village across from the Luxor Hotel and Casino on Saturday, September 19 —between the two nights of the fifth annual iHeartRadio Music Festival at MGM Grand in Las Vegas on September 18 and 19.
In addition to Lee Brice, the Daytime Village will feature live performances by Hozier, Tove Lo, Trey Songz, Walk The Moon, Nick Jonas, George Ezra, Tori Kelly, Echosmith, James Bay, The Struts, Zella Day and Shawn Mendes.The Daytime Village will also feature fan zones and interactive experiences by iHeartRadio's brand partners. Visit Bar 10 Ranch At The Grand Canyon & Fly Papillon Airlines

Papillon Group's Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines is launching its newest adventure, flying guests from Las Vegas to Bar 10 Ranch at the Grand Canyon's Northern rim. Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines will be the exclusive provider for roundtrip flights.

Known as the Grand Canyon North Air/Ground Tour, guests will be picked up in Las Vegas via complimentary shuttle service to bring them to the Boulder City Aerocenter. From there, guests will board an airplane, from which they will enjoy a bird’s-eye view of Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and the Colorado River—the heart of the Grand Canyon. The airplane will land at the landing strip of Bar 10 Ranch where guests will experience a guided ground tour on a Polaris Ranger. Next, they will travel through Whitmore Canyon and Lake Mead Recreation Area to reach an exclusive vantage point of Grand Canyon National Park. The tour concludes with a homemade Dutch oven barbecue lunch. The tour duration is approximately seven to eight hours, including round-trip hotel shuttle transportation. Self-guided ATV upgrades are also available for an additional $65 per person. The Waterfall Atrium at The Palazzo® Las Vegas is showcasing an incredible art installation inspired by Venice’s Carnivale di Venezia. For the first time, the seasonal display “transforms” throughout the summer, with three distinct color palettes created by a changing selection of fresh flowers.   Now into its second “look,” the display has taken on a “hot summer nights” theme with jewel tone florals.

The concept took two years for the floral and horticulture teams to create from inception to completion. Hundreds of hours went into design and art direction. The spectacular display was first constructed on a computer model which took three months to build. Venetian women topiaries that stand approximately nine feet tall are the focal point of the summer display.

A team of 20 floral designers, gardeners, and engineers contributed more than 1,600 total hours toward the installation of the summer floral display. The topiary dresses are each constructed from approximately 2,500 flowers including roses, anthurium, China mums, orchids, kale, carnations, and allium balls. The flowers were shipped from Holland, Ecuador, and California, and each topiary requires six hours of daily maintenance. Also, Venetian masks were added throughout the gardens to enhance the Carnivale feel.

The new installation can be seen through September 1, with the décor and colors changing once more before the end of summer:

·      For June, a touch of wedding glamour was seen throughout the display with shades of white, pinks, peaches, and creams.

·      In July, hot summer nights transform the gardens with jewel tones in hot pinks, purples, and reds.

·      And in August, to finish up the three-month show, the gardens and topiaries will begin to show the transition into autumn with orange, yellows, reds, and browns.

The gardens are adorned with a variety of plans including hydrangeas, chrysanthemums, kalanchoes, fleurette mums, ivy, ferns, and various topiaries with different geometric forms.

National Night Out Block Party At Providence Community Coming Up!

The National Night Out Block Party at Providence combines fun and education for the public to meet and strengthen relationships with law enforcement and community safety partners. The free event, promoting crime prevention awareness, neighborhood spirit and unity, and community-law enforcement partnerships, will be Tuesday, Aug. 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Knickerbocker Park in the Providence Master Planned Community in northwest Las Vegas.

The family-friendly event will feature interactive and educational activities, booths and emergency response equipment, including a helicopter for kids to see, touch and explore. Participants include the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, Nevada Highway Patrol, and other first responders and community groups.

There also will be a large-scale version of the classic Red Light-Green Light game with a real traffic light. It will help children learn the basics of traffic safety in a fun way as they make their way to the finish line.

Target is providing free popsicles and water, and other treats will be available for sale.
P.D., the loveable Providence dog mascot, also will there to greet guests. Well-behaved leashed pets are welcome.

The "Crazy Girls" show is currently performing in the Sin City Showroom at Planet Hollywood. The show moved to Planet Hollywood after the Riviera Hotel & Casino closed. The world famous Crazy Girls butts statue was created in 1995 and has survived the test of time and has become an iconic landmark for photo taking among tourists and locals.
