Humanitarian & Singer Carlos Santana Tours Three Square Food Bank

Last Thursday afternoon, House of Blues headliner Carlos Santana toured Three Square Food Bank with wife Cindy Blackman-Santana. Santana has been a supporter of Three Square for many years and had toured the facility in 2009 so he was really able to witness firsthand the tremendous growth that has taken place at Three Square since he first became involved with the amazing charity. His tour took place on the same day volunteers from House of Blues packed more than 7,000 lunches for needy children in the valley.

Come On Out For CC & The N2 Publishing 4 Year Anniversary Party

Kevin Hart, NAS, Fabulous All In Vegas!

Memorial Day Weekend continued on Sunday as revelers partied from sun up to sun down.

Fabulous
At TAO Beach Fabolous commanded the stage, treating pool goers to a 20 minute set of classic and new hits.  During the set Kevin Hart jumped up on a speaker next to the stage and started dancing, sending the crowd into a frenzy.  Kevin called Taraji P. Henson up to join him – she danced and got on the mic to thank the crowd for the success of her show Empire.

At Marquee Dayclub Cedric Gervais manned the decks, spinning for the packed party.

Nas
As day turned into night the festivities carried on.  Nas took over the private dining room at TAO Asian Bistro before heading to Marquee Nightclub where he surprised club goers with a medley of his hits and gave a shout out to 12AM Run, the local sneaker store he co-owns.  Fox Sports analyst and former NFL quarterback was spotted singing along to every word.

Eniko & Kevin
TAO Nightclub was the spot for Kevin Hart’s after-concert party.  The comedian was joined by fiancé Eniko Parrish and a group of friends. Upon arriving to the club Hart jumped into the DJ booth with Eric DLux and began dancing and singing to each song.  He ordered shot of tequila for the crowd and ask each person to raise their glass for a toast as he expressed appreciation for his fans.  Once again Taraji P. Henson joined him in the booth and entertained party goers as the two joked around with each other. The comedian continued dancing atop the booth with his fiancé later joining him and Fabolous stopping by to close out the night.

Sassy, Super Talented! Véronic Returns To Bally's!

She’s sassy, she’s super talented and puts on a GREAT show! Véronic DiCaire is back at Bally’s performing with her powerhouse vocals and her show encompasses the following Divas;  Adele, Mariah Carey, Dolly Parton and Whitney Houston and her high-energy dance repertoire includes hits by Madonna, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Pink and Carrie Underwood.

But let’s back up just a bit; the property that Véronic performs at has a long history of having talented and legendary performers. Before it was Bally’s the hotel casino was opened by legend Kirk Kerkorian and was named the MGM Hotel. The theme throughout the hotel was movies and movie stars with beautiful black and white photographs of Dean Martin, Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland placed throughout the property (just to name a few.)  Performing in the Celebrity Theater were such greats as Joan Rivers, Barry Manilow and The Carpenters. As a matter of fact Dean Martin’s last stage appearance took place in The Celebrity Room in the 1990’s and his last booking ended with him onstage and then looking out at the audience and saying “I just can’t do this anymore” and he walked offstage never to return.  So it makes sense that such a multi-talented performer such as Véronic would feel right at home at this legendary property.

To be able to sing is a gift and Véronic has been truly blessed. She belts out songs effortlessly and hits every note. The late Whitney Houston’s voice was beautiful and Véronic sounds eerily just like her. If you close your eyes you could almost swear that it was Whitney singing. Donna Summer’s voice was another powerhouse and once again Véronic hits every note and the disco act had everyone up and dancing. When she sang The Carpenter’s “Close to You” once again spot perfect.

The show appeals to a multitude of ages and backgrounds. Sitting right beside me were three young ladies in their early 20’s and they LOVED the show! Up front were a couple in their 50’s and they also LOVED the show. Also in the audience were two children and the show was fine for these 9-11 year olds.

With a cute figure and beautiful hair and several costume changes Véronic’s show is an opportunity to see a true talent shining on stage!

Rapper 50 Cent Becomes Bartender At Vegas Hotspot!

50 Cent & John O'Donnell
50 Cent brought the party to da CRUSH at MGM Grand while in Las Vegas over the weekend.

When venerable Irish bartender and self-described "funologist" John O'Donnell invited the charismatic rapper behind the bar at Jenna and Michael Morton's popular dining spot on Saturday night, 50 Cent took over without a second thought.

With a bottle of EFFEN vodka in one hand and a shaker in the other, 50 Cent concocted a lemon drop martini "like a pro," said O'Donnell. After shouting to the bar, "$10,000!" 50 Cent identified a lovely lady at the bar and handed her the drink with a wink.

Ever the showman, 50 Cent then passed out several bottles of EFFEN, for which he is a pitchman, to fellow patrons. 50 Cent dined with a large group of friends, enjoying lemon drops made with EFFEN Black Cherry vodka throughout dinner. The group shared several dishes, including pizza topped with Nana D's meatballs, ricotta gnocchi with braised short-rib and beef hanger steak with au poivre sauce and crostini.
