Slice Of Vegas Turns 5! Celebrates With All New Menu Items

Slice of Vegas Pizza Kitchen & Bar is celebrating its five-year anniversary with an all-new menu for guests to enjoy. Located inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Place, the pizza kitchen and bar is rolling out a wide-variety of Italian-inspired dishes from starters and specialty pizzas to sandwiches and hand-crafted pasta, and more.

Since its opening in 2012, Slice of Vegas has continued to serve up New York style pizza with a thin, chewy crust, fresh pasta, unique salads and a variety of sandwiches. Created by Chef George Motsinger, the new menu features American-Italian hybrid cuisine with a Las Vegas twist. In addition to the newly added menu items, the pizza kitchen and bar has also expanded its award-wining vegan menu, adding 10 new dishes.

Highlights from the new menu include pesto hummus (made with hummus, fried chick peas, peppadew peppers, micro basil, and served with pita bread, cucumbers, celery and carrots); buffalo edamame (made with edamame, garlic, hot buffalo sauce, ranch, and bleu cheese crumbles); vegan-friendly cauliflower fettuccine (fettuccine, cauliflower "alfredo" sauce, Gardein Chick'n Strips, and rapini); and the soon-to-be spicy favorite, helldorado pizza (made with fresh pizza sauce, smoked ghost pepper cheese, fontina, pepperoni, cappicola, peppadew pepper and chili flakes).

Resurrecting a slice of Vegas' history, Slice of Vegas is debuting the Double Down Challenge. Featuring a nine-pound double stacked 18-inch pizza (made with fresh pizza sauce, mozzarella, cappicola, salami, pepperoni, bacon, ham, yellow onion, mushrooms and jalapeƱos) individual guests must finish the whole pizza, including the crust, within one hour without leaving the table for any reason. Winners who complete the challenge can rejoice knowing they receive the hefty pie on the house, their picture on the wall of fame, a $100 Slice of Vegas gift card and a commemorative t-shirt. Finishing the Double Down pizza is one challenge not to be taken lightly.

Slice of Vegas is open Sunday - Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Friday - Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. For more information, visit: www.sliceofvegaspizza.com
