Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar Has New Delish Items On Their Menu

Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar continues to be a local favorite for their innovative menu, affordable family-friendly pricing and the restaurant’s large, dog-friendly patio. Keeping up with the seasons, Lazy Dog introduces new and delicious fare to their extensive menu including new additions to their brunch and Happy Hour menus* beginning March 30, 2017.

A sample of some of the new spring menu items:

Grizzly Fries – potato wedges, house made secret sauce, crispy bacon, fried sweety drop peppers and smoked paprika

Spicy Buffalo Chicken Lollipops – high attitude hot sauce and bleu cheese slaw

Strawberry Field Salad – Humboldt fog goat cheese, pickled strawberries, house made trail mix crouton, blistered heirloom tomatoes, carrots, field greens and balsamic vinaigrette

Sausage & Chili Oil Pizza – Pomodoro tomato sauce, house made fennel sausage, mozzarella, thyme and Chef’s chili oil

Fried Chicken Sandwich – Hand-dipped buttermilk chicken, pimento cheese spread, fiery carrot slaw, pickled jalapenos, tomato and iceberg lettuce on a brioche-style bun

Bison Burger – All natural Durham Ranch grass-raised Wyoming bison, Havarti cheese, caramelized onion + bacon jam, field greens, tomatoes and mayo

Corn Chowder – Slow-cooked and made from scratch daily

Charred Lemon Chicken – Served over chilled baby kale, ancient grains, roasted seasonal vegetables, cucumber mint sauce, feta cheese and lemon

*Lazy Dog now proudly features Certified Angus Beef® in the following new dishes: Garlic-Butter Flat Iron Steak, New York Steak, and the Grilled Steak Salad.

For the Brunch goers:

Fresh Strawberry French Toast – House made whipped cream and strawberry compote

Baked Berry Pancake – Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, maple bacon butter, warm syrup and topped with whipped cream

Breakfast Burger – Grilled beef patty, smoked bacon, sunny side up egg, crispy hash browns, cheddar, house made bark + bite sauce and fries

For those with a Sweet Tooth:

Banana Pudding – House made banana cream pudding, old school vanilla wafers, sliced banana and topped with whipped cream

Warm Peach Crumble – Brown sugar, oats and vanilla bean ice cream

White Chocolate Pretzel Cheesecake – Gooey caramel, house made white chocolate + sea salt pretzel bark, topped with whipped cream


Garlic Parmesan Waffle Chips
Lazy Dog proudly boasts two Happy Hours: Monday through Friday from 3 until 6 p.m. and Sunday through Thursday from 9 p.m. until closing in the bar and patio area.

The Dirty Dog – Bacon wrapped Nathan’s Hot Dog in a King’s Hawaiian Bun, topped with potato chips, bleu cheese dressing, buffalo sauce and slaw $6

Atomic Fried Rice – Kimchi, ginger, garlic, fiery carrot slaw and sunny-side up egg  $5

Cowboy Up – 16 oz. House draft with a shot of wither Jameson or Jack Daniels Whiskey - $8

Guests can also enjoy new libations from the bar menu including Simms’ Cup made with Aviation American gin, aperol, house made ginger beer, lemon-ginger syrup, cucumber and soda and Old Faithful made with Maker’s Mark, spiced bitters, orange peel, candied black cherries sugarcane and soda.
