Join the Festivities At The Venetian & The Palazzo For Chinese New Year

The Venetian® and The Palazzo® Las Vegas are celebrating Chinese New Year and "The Year of the Rooster" with a thrilling and traditional eye ceremony and lion dance.

The ceremonial lion dance will begin with the eye ceremony at The Venetian porte-cochere. The dance will wind its way through The Venetian lobby and casino before stopping in The Palazzo Waterfall Atrium, then finding its way through The Palazzo casino, lobby, and ending at The Palazzo porte-cochere. This magnificent event will feature firecrackers and a parade of dancers and drummers in authentic clothing.

To accompany the ceremony and dance, guests can enjoy the stunning decorations highlighting the "Year of the Rooster" that are spread throughout the resort.

To commemorate the holiday, The Waterfall Atrium and Gardens inside the Palazzo feature a massive Chinese New Year installation. The dazzling art display, created by The Venetian and The Palazzo's floral and horticulture team, is sure to capture the eyes of each and every guest who ventures through The Waterfall Atrium and Gardens.

The "Year of the Rooster" art installation features:
A 15-foot tall, 3,500-pound fire rooster crafted of steel and resin. The hand-painted rooster is covered with approximately 68,000 crystals.

8 smaller roosters throughout the resort, each hand-carved and painted by a team of six artists.
An 18-foot long dragon inside the infinity pond in the middle of the Waterfall Atrium.
