Join The $150,000 Holiday Match Challenge For Three Square Food Bank

Through the end of the year, donations made to Three Square Food Bank will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, by generous local business that are part of the $150,000 Holiday Match Challenge. Proceeds from the seventh annual challenge help feed the one in six Southern Nevadans that struggle with hunger.

Backing the 2016 Holiday Match Challenge are local businesses and community leaders Barrick Gold, Boyd Gaming, Towbin Automotive Group and UnitedHealthcare.

“We are so very grateful for the partnership of our matching donors, who power Three Square’s mission not only during the holidays, but all year long,” said Brian Burton, president and CEO of Three Square. “Their generous donations will help other donors double their impact, with a $10 donation turning into $20, and 30 meals for those in need turning into 60 meals.”

Since its inception, the Holiday Match Campaign has raised more than $2.4 million, or approximately six million meals provided by Three Square to its service network of 1,300 community partners. Of the individuals assisted by Three Square, more than 54,000 are children and more than 19,000 are seniors and 8 percent are veterans.
