Britney Spears & Mario Lopez Pedal For Charity

Britney Spears and Mario Lopez joined dozens of cyclists in the ‘Britney Spears Piece of Me Charity Ride’ at XCYCLE Las Vegas to raise money for the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation (NCCF) yesterday afternoon.

Spears and Zappos.com, along with XCYCLE, presented a check of $553,130 to NCCF president and CEO, Jeff Gordon, before the ride. The money was raised by sponsors and other riders who donated for a chance to ride with Spears. The class was instructed by XCYCLE owner, Jen Barnet.

Spears, wearing a grey XCYCLE shirt and black pants, greeted sponsors and donors before the ride. She then joined Lopez and others in the XCYCLE studio for the 45-minute class.

Sponsors include Spears’ popular Las Vegas show, “Piece of Me,” at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Zappos.com, Live Nation Inc., Robert Earl on behalf of Collide, Southwest Specialty Contractors, Caesars Entertainment, RCA/SONY Music, Elizabeth Arden, George Maloof, JP’s Peace, Love & Happiness Foundation, Creative Artists Agency and iHeartRadio. The ride was part of the initiative by Spears and Zappos to raise $1 million toward building a new facility for the NCCF to provide critical services to young cancer patients and their families.
