With the recent renovation of South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa’s Grandview Lounge and a successful summer run of guest stars, the property features a newly designed monthly entertainment roster, offering a glimpse of vintage Las Vegas entertainment with top-of-the-line production.
“We want to offer a place where locals and visitors alike can visit and experience the history and wonder of Las Vegas’ classic entertainment that Michael Gaughan has been instrumental in creating,” said Michael Libonati, director of entertainment at South Point Hotel. “We allow our guests to get up close and intimate with these incredible performers like Wes Winters, Vanessa LeGrand and Chris Phillips, giving them a show they won’t be able to get anywhere else and that they will never forget.”
Every Friday and Saturday night, South Point Hotel’s Grandview Lounge will host free performances by the iconic “one man lounge show” entertainer with more than 500 shows performed at South Point, Wes Winters; and sexy, soulful vocal star, Vanessa LeGrand. Each month, Chris Phillips will host a ticketed performance, paying homage to classic Las Vegas with hits from the Rat Pack, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme, Tom Jones and Elvis Presley. In addition to Phillips’ monthly performances, guest stars will take the stage, including Travis Cloer, Chadwick Johnson, Draw Lynch, Michael Grimm and more.
