Legendary Baseball Coach Tommy Lasorda Dines Out At N9NE Steakhouse

Over the weekend on Saturday, Sept. 10, former Los Angeles Dodgers manager and National Baseball Hall of Fame inductee, Thomas “Tommy” Lasorda stopped by N9NE Steakhouse at Palms Casino Resort where he enjoyed executive chef Barry Dakake’s tasting menu including sashimi duo, organic truffle chicken and Dover sole with a group of friends. Back for another delicious meal, Ashleigh Johnson, Maggie Steffens, Kaleigh Gilchrist, KK Clark and Sami Hill from the 2016 women’s USA Olympic water polo team were also at N9NE where they met Lasorda and the group took a photo to commemorate the occasion.

Thomas “Tommy” Lasorda is a former Major League baseball player who played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, for one season, before serving as team manager for the Los Angeles Dodgers for the remainder of his career. Throughout his baseball journey, Lasorda managed the Dodgers for 20 seasons from 1976-1996 and over the course of this time, he totaled 1,599 career wins. Due to his wildly successful sports management career, Lasorda was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1997.
