Three Square Food Bank, a member of the Feeding America nationwide network of food banks, will observe the eighth annual Hunger Action Month – an initiative designed to raise awareness on the issue of hunger and encourage the public to join the movement to help end it. Three Square’s partnership with Modern Donut will help the 1 in 6 people who face hunger in southern Nevada – including more than 64 percent of children in the Clark County School District who qualify for free and reduced-price meals.
Charitable donut lovers can delight in the full Modern Donut menu including Cronuts like the Cronut Mocha (coffee-blended whipped cream and crushed chocolate espresso beans), Cronut Maple Bacon (Vermont maple glaze and imported crispy bacon) or Cronut Blueberry- chunked blueberry icing, and Swedish chocolate drizzle; or Classic donuts including Red Velvet (house-made red velvet cake, Philly cream cheese icing and red velvet crumble) or Maple Iced Chocolate Drizzle (seasonal Vermont maple, chocolate drizzle).
