BRAVO! Cucina Italiana Celebrates 1st Anniversary With New Menu Items

 BRAVO! Cucina Italiana (BRAVO!) is celebrating the first anniversary of its Henderson location on Thursday, July 7 with a special “BRAVO! Cucina Italiana Day” proclamation made by Mayor Andy Hafen. In addition to the proclamation, Hafen will take part in a festive pizza toss and help deliver a “Pizza BRAVO!” lunch donation to Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada Donald W. Reynolds Clubhouse.

“We are excited to celebrate BRAVO's first anniversary by giving back to the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada,” said Kenna Warner, vice president of BRIO BRAVO Restaurant Group. “It's been a wonderful first year and we look forward to being a part of the Henderson community for years to come."

Those interested in helping BRAVO! celebrate can dine in on July 7 for a complimentary dessert and enjoy their own Pizza BRAVO!, which is one of their new menu items is a thin crust pizza topped with Sopressata, peperoncini, Ricotta and Mozzarella cheeses, chili flakes, basil and lemon aioli. Other tasty new items diners can indulge in include Linguine Carbonara, Braised Pork Marsala and Spicy Shrimp and Clam Linguine.

 “We really focused on adding hearty, Italian favorites such as pasta and pizza to our menu,” said Luis Monge, Executive Chef of BRAVO! Cucina Italiana.“Our portion sizes are larger and the plates are full of authentic flavor, which will remind you of your grandma’s cooking.”

New menu highlights include:
Appetizers:
·         Meatballs & Polenta – A flavorful blend of beef and pork cooked to perfection with creamy polenta and a touch of mascarpone, in a rich Marsala tomato sauce
Lunch:
·         Crispy Chicken Sandwich – A juicy, Romano crusted chicken breast fried golden topped with melted Provolone cheese, arugula and lemon aioli on a whole wheat bun
Dinner:
·         Baked Rigatoni Bolognese –  Al dente Rigatoni noodles topped with a combination of Bolognese, marinara  and Pomodoro sauces and melted Ricotta, Reggiano, Mozzarella and Provolone cheeses finished with a pinch of fresh parsley

BRAVO! Cucina Italiana is located near the newly-renovated “Plaza” area at the Galleria at Sunset.
