We know you're excited about having Monday off, but remember what this weekend is really about: remembering those who have died while serving our country. That's why we were so touched when we heard from Navy Veteran, Frank Moriarty, and his TurboPUP, Chowder.

During his 11 year Naval career, Frank served in Operation Phantom Fury. As a result of his deployment, he suffers from Combat-Related PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injury.

In 2015 his car was stolen and destroyed; and he lost his home within a couple of weeks. Unable to get help, he reached out to the Semper Fi Fund.

Thanks to the hard work of the Semper Fi Fund, he has a great apartment and is back on his feet hiking the entire Appalachian Trail to raise money for the Semper Fi Fund.
