“Last year, it was magical to watch these kids blossom from their school theater productions, to taking the stage here at The Smith Center, to having an opportunity to learn and perform on a world-famous stage in the heart of Broadway,” said President and CEO of The Smith Center Myron Martin. “I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this year’s performances and to announce this year’s winners.”

The Nevada High School Musical Theater Awards welcomes public, private, charter and non-profit high schools across the state to nominate two students from their respective school. In order to qualify, students must have played a leading role in an eligible, full-length musical production on their high school campus during the school year.
