LOTUS Broadcasting Will Now Broadcast LVMS Events

NASCAR fans in Las Vegas will be able to catch all the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series action on the radio, thanks to Lotus Broadcasting.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway partner Lotus Broadcasting will begin carrying Performance Racing Network and Motor Racing Network broadcasts of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races live in the Las Vegas area beginning with this weekend’s Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond International Raceway.

Lotus will broadcast this weekend’s race – which will be carried on MRN – on its FOX Sports 1340 KRLV AM station beginning at 9 a.m. Pacific Time. All NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events can be heard on one of Lotus’ four sports affiliates – FOX Sports 1340 AM, NBC Sports 920 AM The Game, ESPN Las Vegas 100.9 FM/1000 AM and ESPN Deportes Las Vegas 1460 AM – throughout the year.

“We are thrilled to be able to bring NASCAR broadcasts to racing fans in Las Vegas,” Lotus Broadcasting General Sales Manager Jesse Leeds said. “Thanks in large part to Las Vegas Motor Speedway, NASCAR has a strong following in our city, and we feel these broadcasts will be a great addition to our sports lineup. We pride ourselves on bringing Las Vegas sports fans a wide variety of entertainment, and adding broadcasts of NASCAR’s flagship series will help us a great deal in that regard.”

Lotus’ programming announcement comes at a great time, as the Toyota Owners 400 will also mark the return of NASCAR legend and 2012 Kobalt 400 champion Tony Stewart, who missed the season’s first eight races due to a back injury.
