Tickets are now on sale for Grammy award-winning funk group, the Commodores, live in concert at Star of the Desert Arena in Primm, Nevada. This one-night-only show is set for Saturday, March 19 with doors open at 7 p.m. and the concert beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $21.80 each and room packages including two concert tickets and a one-night stay at Buffalo Bills are available for $99.95 plus taxes and fees.
The group will perform all the hits from their repertoire spanning the last four decades, including "Brick House," "Night Shift," "Three Times a Lady" and "Sail On." Formed in 1968 while all the members were in college at Tuskegee University, the group was discovered by Berry Gordy and went on to become Motown's largest selling act in the 70s and 80s, selling more than 60 million records.
The present Commodores, including William King, Walter "Clyde" Orange and J.D. Nicholas, along with their five-piece band, have continued the Commodores legacy, releasing several new albums on their own label, along with a worldwide tour.
