Fill UP! Cabo Wabo Cantina Offers Tasty Tempting Breakfast Items!

Blood Orange, Bellini. Orange Mimosas

Ready for some breakfast? Cabo Wabo located in the Miracle Mile Shopping Center in Planet Hollywood offers hearty breakfast options. If you spent the night imbibing in cocktails and are feeling a tad hung over why not start the day with a spicy bloody Mary. Some Bloody Mary's are either not spicy enough or have an overload of Worchester sauce. Not Cabo Wabo's! A delicious mix of  fresh tomato juice with Vodka with flavorful celery salt and then garnished with a lime slice, lemon slice and an olive the perfect way to start a Sunday in Las Vegas. If your tastes lean more towards a lighter drink and you enjoy Mimosa's then you will be very happy and blissfully on your way to paradise with the three options available. You can order the classic Mimosa made with fresh squeezed orange juice and champagne but why not be a little different? The Blood Orange Mimosa is a flavorful addition to the Mimosa menu, it is made with fresh orange juice, blood-orange liqueur, blood-orange purée and champagne. Personally of the three I favor the decadent Bellini with it's fresh peach flavor! You can have all three with the "All You Can Drink" Mimosa and Bellini option for $24 per person. Enjoy sipping any of the above drinks on a nice balmy morning with a fresh breeze on the restaurant's patio. You can watch the LV strip come alive as you enjoy breakfast.

Banana Nut Breas

As a starter and to nibble on while you wait for your food one of the items on the breakfast menu is the in house made Banana Bread. Yes you might think that banana bread is a little heavy, but not at Cabo Wabo. It is light and fluffy and bursting with banana flavor, plus it is grilled to add a crunch and served with fresh whipped butter. Definitely a great starter dish.
CW Eggs Benedict

Cabo Wabo has added some new and interesting breakfast items that are fulfilling and stick with the tradition of Mexican food at it’s finest. First off is their interesting and delicious version of the all time favorite breakfast dish, Eggs Benedict. Yes on the menu you can order the traditional Eggs Benedict but why would you when you could order CW’s version. This dish is made with poached eggs, english muffins and machaca and chorizo, topped with melted pepper jack cheese, hollandaise and serviced with Cabo Wabo potatoes. By substituting machaca which is a tradition dried shredded meat that is originally from Northern Mexico and adding spicy  chorizo sausage to this dish you have a spicy delectable concoction that is amazingly good. This dish is large and can easily be shared by two people!

Chili Verde Omelet

Do you happen to love Green Chili? Then you need to try the Chili Verde Omelet, which is a fluffy omelet covered with “REAL” green chili sauce mixed with poblano peppers which are grown in Mexico. If you are a true green chili aficionado then this is the omelet for you.  Inside you will find tender braised pork and the omelet is topped with green tomatillo and green chili sauce and then covered  with melted cheese. Also with the omelet comes crunchy CW potatoes and toast.
Huevos Con Chilaquiles

Now for my favorite breakfast dish which is absolutely delicious, and would again be perfect for a “morning after’ breakfast. The Huevos Con Chilaquiles is a baked tortilla casserole. The ingredients are fairly simple, corn tortillas, shredded chicken and your choice of red or green sauce. Add in Oxacan cheese and top with two eggs any style and you have a winning dish! You will have enough for breakfast and lunch, but if you cannot take it with you savor every bite. The red sauce is spicy but not overwhelming and it soaks into the corn tortillas and the dish is brought to your table right from the oven. Plus with the red sauce the casserole is moist and not dry.

Usually restaurants in Las Vegas and notably on the LV Strip are priced fairly high. What I found refreshing about Cabo Wabo is that for $11.95 I could have my favorite dish the above mentioned Huevos Con Chilaquiles! The Chili Verde Omelet is also $11.95. Great prices for the amount of food and the wonderful service. Prices on the breakfast menu range from $9.95 and top out at $14.95.

Drop on by Cabo Wabo for breakfast, lunch or dinner and enjoy their party atmosphere!  Awarded “Best Tequila Selection” in the 2015 Best of Las Vegas awards, Sammy Hagar’s hard rockin’ dining and live music venue combines the laid-back beach-town vibe of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with the excitement of the Las Vegas Strip. Blending coastal Mexican and Tex Mex cuisine, the menu offers a tantalizing mix of flavorful food, killer margaritas and an awesome venue where it is never uncommon to catch the Red Rocker himself jamming out with a live set on stage.
