Waterpark Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas Raised Over $500 For NSPCA!

Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas announced that its “Dog Days of Summer” online ticket promotion held to benefit Nevada SPCA in mid-August raised more than $500.

Wet’n’Wild partnered with the Nevada SPCA No-Kill Animal Sanctuary in honor of National Dog Day on Aug. 26. For every $19.99 ticket purchased from Aug. 18 through Aug. 22 with the code ANIMAL, $1 was donated to the NSPCA.

“Las Vegas’ Summer Playground is a great place to create wonderful family memories, and pets are undoubtedly part of many Las Vegas families,” said Takuya Ohki, general manager of Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas.  “We love our furry friends and are pleased to have helped the Nevada SPCA and its animals seeking a forever family.”

Nevada SPCA president, Kathy Jung, said that the money raised would be put to immediate use saving animals in the valley.

"We appreciate Wet'n'Wild for helping their customers support animal rescue in such a fun, positive way with family and friends,” Jung said.  “Nevada SPCA does not receive government funding or funding from national animal organizations, so help from caring people and businesses is vital to achieving our lifesaving work for animals in dire need."
