Oktoberfest Comes To The LINQ & Harrah's Las Vegas

Strap on your lederhosen and grab a beer, its Oktoberfest time. Las Vegas is joining in the German tradition with events at The LINQ Hotel & Casino and Harrah’s Las Vegas.

On October 2, The LINQ Hotel & Casino will host its Oktoberfest celebration at The LINQ Pool from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Take in the impressive views of the High Roller and LINQ Promenade while sampling more than 25 beer options from 15-plus breweries. The copious craft beer offerings include Victory Festbier, Hofbrau Dunkel, Ballast Point Dead Ringer Marzen, and Las Vegas’ own Tenaya Creek Oktoberfest Lager and Bad Beat Brewery. In addition to the vast beer selection, traditional German food will be served including apfelstrudel (apple strudel slices), brezel (soft pretzel pieces), wurst (sausage with sauerkraut) and more.

Dan Fester, the live-looping, one-man band, will provide an all-request live soundtrack for the festivities. In between gulps of beer, guests can play such games as shuffleboard, billiards or life-size Jenga, as well as compete for prizes in various ways, including a Das Boot drinking contest.

General admission for The LINQ Pool’s Oktoberfest celebration is only $30 and includes all the goodies listed above. For only $5 more, upgrade to a VIP ticket, which grants early access at 7 p.m. and a chance to try rare beer selections not available to general admission ticket holders. Tickets can be purchase here.

On October 17, Harrah’s Las Vegas’ party central, Carnaval Court, will hold its Oktoberfest event. With festivities kicking off at 6 p.m., guests can indulge in pretzel necklaces, and a bevy of Sam Adams Oktoberfest and other beer options. There will even be a stein hoisting contest, complete with complementary lederhosen for those competing. In true Oktoberfest spirit, there will be no cover charge.

Named one of the “Best Sports Bars in America” by Travel + Leisure, TAG Sports Bar at The LINQ Hotel & Casino takes two things seriously—beer and sports. With nearly 300 bottled, can and large format brews from across the nation and the world, TAG Sport Bar also features a monthly tap takeover program. For the month of October, specialty Oktoberfest brews will be available at the self-serve tap tables, idea for tasting or indulging. Oktoberfest selections include:  Ballast Point Dead Ringer Marzen, Tenaya Creek Oktoberfest Lager, Sam Adams Oktoberfest and Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest. TAG is also the perfect spot to take in football or any other sports from around the world with 42 plasma televisions.
