Full Race Card For Labor Day Week-End Will Take Place At LVMS

Race fans will have two chances to spend part of their Labor Day weekend at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The 3/8-mile track is hosting full nights of racing on consecutive days on Saturday and Sunday, with an array of classes running each night. From NASCAR Super Late Models, Bombers, Grand American Modifieds and Super Stocks, to USLCI Legends, Thunder Cars and O’Hanley’s Bandoleros, attendees can see a wide range of race car taking to the short track during the holiday weekend.

In addition, Southwest Tour Trucks and the USAC HPD Midgets Series will be in town to race both nights. Sunday’s slate of features includes a NASCAR Bombers “Breakout race” – where lead cars are penalized for breaking the 20-second barrier – as well as a national qualifying event for the USLCI Legends division.

This weekend’s dual nights make up half of the season’s four remaining races in the 2015 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. The Bullring will be alive with action again with a full schedule of races on Sept. 12, and the season will conclude on Championship Night on Sept. 26, when season-long track titles will be decided.

One of the most affordable entertainment options in Las Vegas, the Bullring’s annual series features family friendly concession prices that include $2 hot dogs and Coca-Cola products and $3 Budweiser beer. Spectators can also save money by purchasing admission tickets in advance by visiting or calling the LVMS ticket office at 702.644.4444 or online at www.lvms.com/

Gates open for race spectators at 5 p.m. Pacific Time, opening ceremonies are set for 7 p.m. and racing follows immediately.
