Miss Nevada USA Places In Top Five For Miss USA Crown

Not only did Miss Nevada USA Brittany McGowan place in the coveted top five while  competing for the Miss USA crown, but the Nevada beauty was named third runner-up during the 2015 Miss USA pageant. Held at the Baton Rouge River Center in Baton Rouge, La., the pageant featured 51 contestants who competed in swimsuit, evening gown and interview.

During the competition, McGowan wowed the audience in a white bikini from Miss USA sponsor, Sun Kitten Swimwear by Lizzie Rovsek. During the evening gown portion of the pageant, McGowan impressed the judges in her flawless, silver long-sleeved gown, designed by Joey Galon, owner of Joey Galon Atelier.

“We couldn’t be more proud of Brittany’s performance,” said Shanna Moakler, executive producer for Miss Nevada USA organization. “She truly encompasses every aspect of what the organization stands for and is a perfect representative of the state of Nevada.”

As Miss Nevada USA 2015, 25-year-old McGowan has had an impact on teens in Nevada with her program, “My World, My Way,” where she encourages them to connect with their truest self during their adolescence, making them feel comfortable and confident. McGowan is a model and actress and her hobbies include traveling, photography and spending time with family.
