"G'day Las Vegas" W/Greg Bonham Coming To The Smith Center

Greg
Australian powerhouse entertainer Greg Bonham returns to The Smith Center with "G'day Las Vegas" in the intimate Cabaret Jazz Room on Saturday, Aug. 22 at 8 p.m. Bonham's soulful voice and blazing trumpet-playing make the highly anticipated return with a one-night only concert performance that music lovers will not want to miss.

Backed by an all-star eight-piece band, Bonham will perform today's hits from Michael Buble, John Legend and Pharrell, as well as classics from Maynard Ferguson, Blood Sweat & Tears and Chicago. Also featured are his moving originals and his show stopping versions of "Hallelujah" and "MacArthur Park."

Bonham, who has performed from Las Vegas to London, grew up on a sheep farm in the Australian outback and had always dreamed of becoming an entertainer. His dream became a reality when he won a national TV talent competition at just 16 years old and has since gained the adoration from fans and critics alike. The successes continued, starring in his own TV special in the U.K. and selling more than 14 million records in Eastern Europe.

The international headliner headed to the U.S. with his wife and daughter, opening for top entertainers including Jay Leno, Don Rickles and Joan Rivers. Bonham is proudly "Up from Down Under" and shares equal time between his homes in Huntington Beach, Southern California and Las Vegas.

"I just can't leave the excitement of Las Vegas... I am hooked and will always return to this great city," says Bonham. "I love performing at the Cabaret Jazz at the Smith Center, it is simply the best venue in town. The intimacy allows you to connect with the audience and create an experience other venues just can't duplicate."

Quoted by Sydney's Daily Mirror entertainment critic as "one of the most powerful entertainers," Bonham's high-energy and Australian charm will continue to captivate audiences everywhere.
