Little Tony's Italian Eatery Now Open At Palace Station

The all-new old-school Italian eatery Little Tony’s by 11-time World Pizza Champion Tony Gemignani is now open at Palace Station. Paying homage to a classic Italian trattoria and pizzeria with a comfortable modern twist, the restaurant features delectable entrees found in your mother’s kitchen along with Gemignani’s award-winning pizzas.

Nestled in the heart of Palace Station, Little Tony’s showcases a lively interior featuring design elements of Gemignani’s renowned Capo’s and Tony’s restaurants in San Francisco. The 117-seat restaurant and bar is decked out with Prohibition-themed décor, with its cushy red leather booths, gold-trimmed tables, and mahogany interior and bar, as well as subway tiles and red bricks that line the walls. To round out the theme, high ceilings with vintage tin tiles, rustic fans, and beautifully crafted copper lighting complete the old-school aura of the restaurant.

“Little Tony’s is a very special new restaurant concept for me,” said Gemignani. “Not only does the menu showcase our most popular pizzas from Pizza Rock, but we’re also offering our exclusive Cast Iron Pizzas on the menu. We’re featuring two pizzas that won World’s Best Pan Pizza 2013 and 2014. These pizzas are not available anywhere else in Nevada, so I am excited to share them with the community at Palace Station.”

Gemignani has developed an approachable menu that stays true to Italian and American cuisine.  Dishes to share or begin a meal include Meatballs (choice of three or six); Calamari Fritti (traditional or Calabrese style with Calabrese aioli and marinara dipping sauces); and Spinach, Artichoke Crostini (blend of spinach, artichoke, and a provolone white wine cream with crushed red pepper) to name a few. All guests will receive a complimentary Pasta Fazool (a house made chicken soup, tomato, light garlic, onions, oregano, fresh pasta and cannellini beans).

The savory portion of the menu continues with a selection of calzones, Stromboli, and house-made pastas, including a create-your-own house-made pasta with choice of pasta, sauce and accompaniments. In addition, Gemignani’s award-winning pizzas will be available including a variety of Italian and American pizza styles, including Classic Italian, Classic American, Sicilian, New York, Traditional Chicago Cracker Thin (corn meal crust) and Gluten Free. Plus, guests will be able to indulge in the World’s Best Pizza 2014, The Dillinger (Chicago cast iron and cracker thin with smoked vodka cream sauce, marinated chicken breast, mozzarella, provolone, cheddar, artichoke hearts, garlic and broccolini).

The beverage program places a strong emphasis on whiskey and bourbon with over 90 different varieties, and features personalized whiskey flights, as well as a build-your-own Old Fashioned (choice of spirit, sweetener, flavor of bitters, and garnish). In addition to a full bar selection, Little Tony’s offers hand-crafted cocktails including two on tap – a signature Tony’s Negroni and a Secret Recipe Manhattan, a draft and bottled beer list with craft beers and a collection of wines with a focus on California and Italy.

Little Tony’s joins the restaurant lineup of acclaimed local favorites at Palace Station, including the popular Oyster Bar and Charcoal Room. Little Tony’s is open nightly for dinner, Sunday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to midnight, and Friday and Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.  For reservations, please call (702) 898-2813 or visit littletonyslasvegas.com.
